Just thinking!

Is forgiveness the continued acceptance of the offending action(s) of the other?
Who, other than God – the Supreme Being, Himself has such a capacity. He tolerates us who offend in and out of season, with impunity as we cause others pain and penury knowing as well as believing that it is only God who has great capacity for forgiveness ad infinitum.
But then, instead of seeking grace from God to enable us live better, purposeful lives to God and neighbor, we choose otherwise.
We offend man and God, then seek forgiveness from man who is as inadequate as we are. Man who pays lip service to seem what (s)he’s not.
I think it’s easier to go to God first, ask for grace to relate better with one another. Hence, offending both God and neighbor less often. Much less.
