Conflict Zone.

The line between protection and control seems a bit obscured. You protect an object of interest; and control that which has a potential to threaten you.
Hence, it is from a point of insecurity that we tend to control, whether or not we take a flight from the threat in the short, medium or long term.
Oftentimes, in relationships, the issues of control and protection are interchangeable and I am always wondering why!
Therefore, the question: do we control others because we are threatened by their presence around us?
Just musing.
